International Superstar Soccer Deluxe

International Superstar Soccer Deluxe, known in Japan as Jikkyou World Soccer 2: Fighting Eleven, is a football simulation developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Osaka and the sequel to International Superstar Soccer. The game features 36 national teams with 16 formations and 8 strategies, though all player names are fictitious due to the absence of official licensing. The PlayStation version was the final platform to receive the game, following earlier SNES and Mega Drive releases. Only one PAL variant has been catalogued, a UK-only Original release from February 1997 in a Full Jewel PAL case without a hologram. The UK-exclusive PAL distribution reflects the sport’s considerably greater PAL footprint in the British market compared to mainland Europe for this particular Konami football title.
