Impact Racing

Impact Racing is a combat racing game developed by Funcom Dublin and published by JVC, blending circuit racing with vehicular combat across twelve tracks using laser weapons and a variety of collectible armaments.

The database currently catalogues a single PAL variant, an Original release distributed across the UK, France, and Germany. The release is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram, on a single disc, in English only. No loose paperwork or bundled demo discs are documented. Impact Racing offers five vehicle types with differing performance and armour characteristics, alongside a selection of weapons including heatseakers, mines, and smart bombs. As a single-variant three-territory release from JVC, it is a fairly uncommon title in the PAL market and of interest to collectors who focus on combat racing games or on cataloguing JVC’s limited PS1 publishing output.
