Grid Run
SLES-00381
Initially Released 10 June 1997
Grid Run, known as Grid Runner in North America, is an action game developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Virgin Interactive, released for PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and PC in 1996. The game is often described as a blend of tag and capture the flag played across a manipulable maze-like grid, offering both competitive one-on-one multiplayer and a single-player story mode against AI opponents.
One PAL variant is currently catalogued, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain as a combined multi-territory pressing. The release is presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case, and contains a single English-language disc. The earliest PAL release date is 10 June 1997.
No loose paperwork or bundled demo discs have been documented. Grid Run received a generally positive reception on release, with critics highlighting the multiplayer mode as its strongest element. With only one PAL variant catalogued, this is a title where the single pressing is the definitive PAL copy for collectors.
