Gex 3D: Enter the Gecko is a 3D platform game developed by Crystal Dynamics and published in PAL regions by BMG Interactive Entertainment. The second entry in the Gex series, the game follows the wisecracking gecko Gex as he collects remote controls to unlock TV-themed worlds in his battle against the villain Rez. The British version features Leslie Phillips providing the voice of Gex. Two PAL variants are catalogued, both under serial SLES-00596 and released on 30 March 1998, with a UK-only pressing and a continental European release covering France, Italy, Germany, and Spain. All releases use Full Jewel PAL cases on a single disc in English, with holograms on the cases. For UK collectors, the separate UK pressing is the relevant item to source, with the continental release distinguished by territory coverage and EAN barcode.
