Future Cop: L.A.P.D. is a third-person shooter developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts, originally conceived as part of the Strike series. Set in 2098, the player pilots the X1-Alpha, a transforming combat vehicle, through a futuristic Los Angeles. Five PAL variants have been catalogued, covering the UK, France, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, and Germany, all as Original releases. Cases are Full Jewel PAL with Hologram A on the case across all known pressings, and all releases are single disc. Language support includes English and French across the various pressings. The game first appeared in PAL territories in September 1998.
