Initially Released 10 November 1997
Frogger is a 1997 action game developed by Millennium Interactive and published by Hasbro Interactive, serving as a 3D remake and expansion of Konami’s classic 1981 arcade game. Players must collect five baby frogs per level across thirty-three stages spread through nine themed zones, navigating hazards and enemies in large, complex environments.
Two PAL variants have been catalogued, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. Both are Original releases in Full Jewel PAL cases with Hologram A on the cases and a single disc each. The two pressings share serial SLES-00704 and are differentiated by territory: one covering the UK, France, and Germany, and a second covering Italy and Spain, each with a distinct EAN barcode. Both support English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. All share a release date of 10 November 1997.
Frogger was a notable commercial success on the PlayStation and became one of the better-selling titles of its period, which means PAL copies remain relatively accessible on the secondhand market. Both variants are in equally common supply.
