Formula Karts

Formula Karts is a kart racing game developed by Manic Media and published by Telstar, released in the PAL region in November 1997. The game offers both simulation and arcade modes with effective race AI, two-player split-screen support (albeit with some noted slowdown), and attempts to capture the low-slung speed and cornering feel of kart racing.

A single PAL variant has been catalogued, a broad multi-territory Original release covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain under one pressing. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc supporting English, German, Italian, and Spanish, and a release date of 21 November 1997, carrying serial SLES-00726.

Telstar was a mid-tier publisher and Formula Karts received limited wider critical coverage. With only one catalogued variant, this is a single-pressing title. Complete copies are not especially easy to locate given the modest original print run.
