Formula 1 98

Formula 1 98 is a 1998 racing game developed by Visual Sciences and published by Psygnosis for the PlayStation, based on the 1998 Formula One World Championship. The sequel to Formula 1 97, it introduced a new game engine, improved visuals including cockpit camera with head animation, and the official 1998 FIA licence for teams, drivers, and tracks. It was also the first in the Psygnosis Formula One series not released for PC. Six PAL variants are catalogued covering Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK, all as Original pressings in Full Jewel PAL cases on a single disc. Language support spans English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, and Spanish across the set. Several variants include the Psygnosis Next Wave catalogues and the Bridgestone Red and White Stickers and a Manual Registration Card as documented loose paperwork, with the Australian pressing also carrying a Magical Mystery Tour competition entry leaflet and a distinctive Australian Classification G sticker. The UK front cover features Mika Hakkinen, the 1998 World Champion and ITV logo, distinct from other regional covers.
