Fisherman’s Bait: A Bass Challenge is a 1998 fishing arcade game developed and published by Konami, ported to the PlayStation in 1999. The game features four lakes, multiple lures and tournament play with DualShock support to simulate the line-snapping and reel-humming sensations of casual angling. The PAL physical landscape is currently sparse, with a single catalogued variant on serial SLES-02085 issued as an Original on a single English-language disc. Country of distribution, case type and hologram are not yet documented and require physical confirmation. As one of Konami’s more obscure PSX outings in PAL territories, the title had a limited print run, and well preserved boxed copies are noticeably scarcer than the publisher’s higher-profile late-1990s releases. Photographic submissions of confirmed PAL copies would meaningfully advance the database entry.
