Fighting Force 2
SLES-02233
Initially Released 7 December 1999
Fighting Force 2 is a 1999 beat ’em up developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive, the sequel to 1997’s original Fighting Force which had been one of the earliest 3D entries in the genre. Unlike its predecessor, the sequel was not released for Windows or Nintendo 64, though a Dreamcast version did appear alongside the PlayStation release.
The PAL landscape comprises six catalogued variants spanning France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and the UK, with the earliest PAL release dated 7 December 1999. The release uses dedicated per-territory localisation across most countries, with disc serials including SLES-02233 (UK and France/Netherlands), SLES-02235 (Germany), and SLES-02237 (Italy/Spain on a shared multilingual pressing).
All six variants ship in Full Jewel PAL cases as single-disc releases. A French Riccochet budget reissue is also catalogued under SLES-02233# with a hash suffix. Loose paperwork has been documented across the range including the Eidos Interactive Knutsford Registration Card and the Eidos Provoking a Reaction Catalogue in both English and German versions.
