Fantastic Four

Fantastic Four is a 1997 beat ’em up developed by Probe Entertainment and published by Acclaim Entertainment, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team. Players control Mr. Fantastic, The Invisible Woman, The Human Torch, The Thing, or She-Hulk across side-scrolling stages drawing on the team’s comic book lore. A planned Sega Saturn version was cancelled. Only one PAL variant has been catalogued, a broad six-country Original pressing covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands in a Full Jewel PAL case, released in August 1997. Language support spans English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. As a single-variant PAL release of a Marvel beat ’em up from Probe Entertainment, this is a solid entry for collectors of Acclaim’s superhero titles on PlayStation.
