F.A. Manager
SLES-00416
Initially Released 10 June 1999
F.A. Manager is a football management simulation developed by Krisalis Software and published by Eidos Interactive for the PlayStation in 1999. The game carries the official Football Association licence, making it the only PS1 football management title produced with full FA endorsement, and Krisalis worked closely with the FA to model player contracts, wages, and internal club dealings.
Three PAL variants are catalogued, all UK-exclusive releases. The release types span an original edition, a Riccochet budget pressing, and a Value Series Riccochet edition. All three are presented in Full Jewel PAL cases with a hologram on the case, and all are single English-language disc releases. No loose paperwork or bundled demo discs have been documented across any variant.
The Riccochet label was an Eidos budget reissue range, and both the Riccochet and Value Series Riccochet editions share the same EAN barcode, which may require careful examination when distinguishing between the two physically. As the only officially licensed FA management game on the PS1, F.A. Manager holds a unique position in the UK football gaming catalogue.
