Earthworm Jim 2 is a run and gun platform game developed by Shiny Entertainment and Screaming Pink, and published by Virgin Interactive. A sequel to the original 1994 game, the PlayStation version was handled by Screaming Pink and includes all original levels alongside upgraded audio and distinct graphical differences from other versions.

Currently, only one PAL variant is catalogued for Earthworm Jim 2, and it is a UK-exclusive release. The game is presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case, and contains a single English-language disc. The earliest PAL release date is 15 November 1996.

No loose paperwork or bundled demo discs have been documented for this variant. The UK-only PAL release, with no other European territories documented, makes this an interesting case for regional collectors. The single known PAL pressing is the definitive physical copy for UK collectors of this beloved franchise.
