Driver

Driver is an action driving game developed by Reflections Interactive and published in the UK by GT Interactive Software, with later reissues under Infogrames. Released in June 1999, the game casts players as undercover detective John Tanner driving through Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York in a series of Hollywood-style car chases, complete with a replay director mode. It was a major commercial success and spawned a long-running series.

Eleven PAL variants are catalogued, spanning the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain across original, Platinum, and Best Of Infogrames release types. UK pressings carry serial SLES-01816 with a standard hologram on the case, while continental European variants use separate serials for Germany (SLES-01975), France (SLES-01976), Italy (SLES-01977), and Spain (SLES-01978), all with Hologram B on the case. All releases are in Full Jewel PAL cases on a single disc. A GT Interactive Software Free Prize Draw Registration Card is documented with the UK original, and an Infogrames Blue Registration Card with the UK Best Of Infogrames reissue. Driver is a highly collectable title with one of the more complex PAL variant sets in this section of the catalogue.
