Dragon Valor
SCES-01705
Initially Released 30 June 2000
Dragon Valor is an action role-playing game with platform and hack-and-slash elements developed by Now Production and published by Namco for the PlayStation, the second sequel to Dragon Buster. Set in a world plagued by powerful dragons, the player wields a magical sword passed down through family generations. Uniquely, whom the protagonist marries during the game changes the playable characters, plot events, and available endings in subsequent playthroughs, drawing comparison to Phantasy Star III.
Five PAL variants are catalogued across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, all as original releases in Full Jewel PAL cases with a Hologram B on the case, spread across two discs. The UK is covered by serial SCES-01705, while the French, German, Italian, and Spanish editions each carry dedicated SCES-02xxx serials. The earliest PAL release was 30 June 2000. Dragon Valor is a niche title rarely encountered in the PAL market, giving it collector appeal particularly for fans of Namco’s PlayStation output.
