Cool Boarders

Cool Boarders is a snowboarding game developed by UEP Systems and published internationally by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. The game offers several courses, a range of boards with distinct attributes, and trick-based gameplay including spins, grabs, and flips, along with a ghost replay mode. Two PAL variants are catalogued, both covering the UK, France, and Germany under serial SCES-00568 and released on 15 January 1997. The releases are distinguished by case format, one in a Full Jewel PAL case and one in a Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case, with no holograms on either case. A Psygnosis Sony Summer Autumn 97 Software Catalogue is documented as loose paperwork in both variants. The existence of two separate case format pressings makes this a more interesting collecting proposition than a single-variant title, and both are sought by those building complete PAL Cool Boarders sets.
