Constructor

SLES-00927
Initially Released 10 September 1998

Constructor is a humorous strategy game developed by System 3 and published by Acclaim Entertainment, originally a PC title that was ported to the PlayStation. Players build and manage a property empire while resorting to sabotage and intimidation to outmanoeuvre rivals. PAL collectors will find five catalogued original variants covering the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy. All releases are housed in Full Jewel PAL cases with a single disc and share a single serial across four of the five territories. The earliest PAL release is dated 10 September 1998. Several variants are documented with Acclaim State of Play catalogue inserts as loose paperwork. Of particular interest to collectors, the UK, French, German, and Spanish pressings are all documented as including a free yellow Constructor-branded memory card, indicated by both round and rectangular orange case stickers. Language support includes English, French, German, and Spanish across the main variants. The hologram types on the cases are unconfirmed.
