Clock Tower

Clock Tower is a point-and-click survival horror game developed by Human and published by ASCII Entertainment Software. Known as Clock Tower 2 in Japan, it follows Jennifer Simpson, who is undergoing treatment in Oslo a year after surviving the Scissorman’s attack. The series was inspired by the Italian horror films of Dario Argento, and gameplay centres on hiding and escaping rather than fighting.

Three Original variants are catalogued, with the earliest PAL release dated 10 February 1998. One shared serial covers the UK, Italy and Spain in English, a second covers France in French, and a third covers Germany in German. All are single disc releases in Full Jewel PAL cases with a Hologram A.

There are no budget or Platinum reissues recorded, so the three launch editions are the whole PAL story for now.

Survival horror remains popular with collectors, and with Human having closed in 2000, this PlayStation entry has become a sought-after title, particularly in complete condition with its Hologram A case intact.
