Centipede

Centipede is a 1998 3D remake of the classic 1981 Atari arcade fixed shooter, developed by Hasbro Interactive for PlayStation, Windows, Mac, and Dreamcast. The remake reimagines the original’s wave-based gameplay with a full 3D world and a narrative following Wally, a villager tasked with defending his community from the QueenPede and her army. Two PAL variants are catalogued across serials SLES-01664 and SLES-01900. Country attribution, case type, hologram, and barcode details have not been documented for either variant. Language support spans Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish across the catalogue. One variant includes an “Atari Welcome to AtariLand Catalogue” as loose paperwork, which is a collector interest item in its own right. The earliest PAL release was 1 June 1999.
