Castrol Honda Superbike Racing

SLES-01182
Initially Released 13 October 2000

Castrol Honda Superbike Racing is a licensed motorcycle racing game developed by Interactive Entertainment and published by THQ for the PlayStation. The game is based on the 1998 Superbike World Championship season and features the Honda RC45 ridden by Aaron Slight and Colin Edwards. Gameplay spans practice, training, single race, and full championship modes across 14 circuits, with an optional qualifying session available and split-screen two-player support. Two PAL variants are catalogued, both original releases in Full Jewel PAL cases, released on 13 October 2000. One covers the UK, Italy, and Spain, while a second variant exists with country attribution still pending. Both discs support English, French, German, and Italian. The later release window places this firmly in the PlayStation’s mature life cycle, and the Castrol and Honda branding lends it collector appeal within licensed sports game collections.
