Carmageddon on PlayStation is a vehicular combat game developed by SCi Entertainment Group and published in PAL territories by Virgin Interactive. The PS1 version is notably distinct from the original PC game, having been rebuilt almost from scratch due to hardware constraints, with entirely different levels and 3D zombie models replacing sprites. The game had a reputation for controversy stemming from its pedestrian-targeting mechanics.
