Cardinal Syn

Cardinal Syn is a 1998 fighting game developed by Kronos Digital Entertainment and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, released in North America under 989 Studios. Set in a fantasy world torn by war, the game features eight main playable characters with a further ten hidden fighters, and interactive 3D environments including fire pits, spike walls, and arrow traps. Five PAL variants are catalogued across the release, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, with releases from 8 January 1998. The UK and continental European editions share serial SCES-01043, while France, Italy, and Spain received additional dedicated serials. All known variants are on single disc Full Jewel PAL cases in English. The game received mixed reviews on release but remains a notable exclusive published under the Sony banner.
