Bubble Bobble also featuring Rainbow Islands is a compilation of two Taito arcade classics, developed for PlayStation by Probe Entertainment and published by Acclaim Entertainment. The package brings together Bubble Bobble, the beloved 1986 co-operative platformer, and Rainbow Islands, its colourful 1987 sequel, both originally produced by Taito. The PAL release arrived in October 1996 and only one variant has been catalogued, a broad multi-country Original pressing covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands in a Full Jewel PAL case without a hologram. Loose paperwork includes an Acclaim One Nation Catalogue.
