Brian Lara Cricket is a cricket simulation developed and published by Codemasters, endorsed by West Indian batsman Brian Lara and serving as the sequel to Brian Lara Cricket ‘96. In Australia and New Zealand the title appeared rebadged as Shane Warne Cricket ‘99, though the PAL release surveyed here is the European-branded edition.

The PAL landscape comprises four catalogued variants spanning the UK and Australia, with the earliest release dated 8 December 1998. UK collectors will find an Original printing, a No 1 Bestseller Codemasters reissue, and a Value Series No 1 Bestseller variant, all sharing the SLES-00759 disc serial.
