Breath of Fire III

Breath of Fire III is a role-playing game developed and originally published by Capcom, with the PAL release handled by Infogrames. Released in 1998, it was notable as the first Breath of Fire title to feature three-dimensional graphics and voice acting. The story follows Ryu, the last survivor of a dragon clan, on a journey through a fantasy world of humans and anthropomorphic creatures. Three PAL variants are catalogued, covering the UK, Italy, Spain, France, and Germany, all as Original pressings in Full Jewel PAL cases on a single disc, all bearing Hologram A on the case. The UK and combined Italy/Spain release shares one serial, with separate serials assigned to the French and German localised pressings. Collector interest is steady given the JRPG pedigree and the relative scarcity of dedicated localised pressings for France and Germany.
