Blast Radius

Blast Radius is a 1998 space combat simulator developed by Camden Development Studio and published by Psygnosis for PlayStation. Players take the role of Kayne, the sole survivor of Wolf Squadron, tasked with saving the Vorn civilisation from the Kotan-Kal. The game offers nine spacecraft with different weapons and handling profiles across forty missions against thirty-seven enemy types. Four PAL variants are catalogued, released from 7 July 1998 and covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands across single disc Full Jewel PAL cases with Hologram A stickers. Three variants share the SLES-01169 serial across different territory groupings, while France received a dedicated SLES-01192 edition. Presented in English across all known pressings. A capable if modestly noted entry in the Psygnosis space combat catalogue, with a reasonably broad PAL release footprint.
