Blast Chamber

SLES-00476
Initially Released 15 November 1996

Blast Chamber is a 1996 action puzzle game developed by Attention to Detail and published by Activision, notable for being the first non-sports four-player game for the PlayStation and Saturn. Players compete inside rotating chambers laced with C4, with the objective of surviving while their opponents do not. Only one PAL variant has been catalogued, a UK-only Original release in the Multiway Jewel One Disk case format without a hologram, released in November 1996. Language support spans English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The UK-only distribution and distinctive Multiway Jewel case format make this an interesting variant for collectors focused on multiplayer titles of the mid-PlayStation era. A PC demo was released in 1997, but the full Windows version was never published.
