Asteroids

Asteroids is a 1998 PlayStation reimagining of the Atari arcade classic, developed by Syrox Developments and published by Activision. The game takes the original coin-op’s core concept and adds 3D graphics, power-ups, multiple ship types, and new game modes while remaining true to its arcade roots. Four PAL variants are catalogued across France, Germany, Italy, and the UK, all as Original pressings in Full Jewel PAL cases on a single disc with Hologram A on the case. Language coverage is distinct per region: the UK carries English, France carries French, Germany carries German, and Italy carries Italian, each with dedicated serials. Activision’s modernised Asteroids is a solid nostalgia title with recognisable branding and appeals to collectors of Atari-legacy remakes and late 1990s Activision releases.
