Initially Released 30 June 1998
Ark of Time is an adventure game developed by Italian studio Trecision and published in Europe by Project Two Interactive, originally released for MS-DOS in 1997 and ported to PlayStation in 1998. Players take the role of journalist Richard Kendall, sent to investigate the disappearance of a research team searching for the mythological sunken city of Atlantis, travelling to locations across the globe in pursuit of answers.
A single PAL variant has been catalogued, a broad multi-territory Original release covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain under one pressing. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc supporting English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish, and a release date of 30 June 1998, carrying serial SLES-00748.
Ark of Time is an Italian-developed point-and-click adventure with a strong European flavour, and its single broad PAL pressing reflects a modest but genuine European distribution. Complete copies are not especially easy to find, particularly outside France or Italy.
