Apocalypse

Apocalypse is a third-person shooter developed by Neversoft and published by Activision in 1998. Its main claim to fame is the involvement of actor Bruce Willis, who provides the likeness and voice of the lead character, Trey Kincaid. It was also the first original game from Neversoft, before the studio went on to launch the Tony Hawk franchise.

Four PAL variants are catalogued, all Original releases, with the earliest dated 1998-10-13. They cover the UK, France, Germany and Italy, and between them the languages are English, French, German and Italian. Every edition uses the Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc. Hologram A is confirmed on the UK, France and Germany editions, and the packaging is otherwise uniform across the set.

For collectors, the appeal is a mix of star power and studio history. A Bruce Willis game from the late 1990s is a talking point on any shelf, and its place as the first original Neversoft title gives it extra interest. Completing the four-country set is a manageable goal.
