Air Race

Air Race (known in Japan as Reciproheat 5000 and in North America as Bravo Air Race) is an aircraft racing game developed by Xing Entertainment and published by THQ for the PlayStation in 1997. Players choose from ten aircraft types including wartime fighters and stunt planes, racing across four courses in Canyon, Snow Land, South City, and Mountain settings.

A single PAL variant has been catalogued, a broad multi-territory Original release covering the UK, France, Germany, and Spain. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a single English-language disc and a release date of 10 January 1997, carrying serial SLES-00762.

Air Race is an early PAL release, arriving in January 1997, and was one of the first aircraft racing titles on the PlayStation. As a THQ-published Xing Entertainment title with limited wider documentation, complete copies are not commonly encountered, making this a modestly rewarding find.
