Actua Soccer, known as VR Soccer in North America, is a football simulation game developed and published by Gremlin Interactive, released on PlayStation in 1996. It was the flagship title of Gremlin’s Actua Sports series, which competed directly with EA Sports throughout the second half of the decade.

The database catalogues two PAL variants, distributed across the UK, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Germany. Release types consist of an Original and a Platinum edition, both using Full Jewel PAL cases. The Original carries no hologram on the case while the Platinum does. Language coverage includes English and French across both releases. No loose paperwork or bundled demos are documented for either variant.

Actua Soccer was positively received at launch for its realistic gameplay and range of features, and as the debut entry in Gremlin’s successful sports line, it holds modest historical interest for collectors of football titles from the mid-1990s PlayStation library.
