40 Winks is a 1999 platform game developed by Eurocom Entertainment Software and published by GT Interactive for the PlayStation. Also known as Ruff & Tumble, the game follows two children who must battle nightmare creatures across a dream world, collecting winks to stop an villain named Nitekap. The Nintendo 64 version was cancelled before release, though it was later revived by Piko Interactive in 2018.

Six PAL variants are catalogued, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, released on 12 November 1999. Five pressings are in Full Jewel PAL cases with Hologram B on the case, with language specific to each territory. The French variant’s case type and hologram are unconfirmed. The German pressing carries research notes referencing a Bild Interactive connection. The Netherlands variant is documented under a separate serial number. Collectors focused on GT Interactive’s late-PlayStation output will find this a well-distributed title with good regional coverage.
